Will Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis get married?

Every year, around Spring, rumours that Mr Johnny Depp and Miss Vanessa Paradis will finally get married. And every year they don´t. What do their numbers say about this?

Opposites attract

Depp and Paradis have been together for almost 12 years and have two kids (aged 11 and 8). Hollywood calls them one of their strongest couples. Yet they are very different people - Johnny has an introspective and spiritual 7 Life Path, whilst Vanessa has a powerful and worldly 8 Life Path. With her 1 Expression Number, the French actress is clearly the boss of day to day stuff - anything to do with life. But Depp, with his Master 11 Expression Number is the prince of the world of inspiration and light. And Vanessa desires this - her Heart Desire number is also 11.

Family matters

Starring together

That major challenge is probably the filming of the new Lasse Hallstrom film. The duo are set to star together in the biopic, My American Dream. (About the long distance relationship between American pulp fiction writer Nelson Algren and the French existentialist Simone de Beauvoir). Whilst Depp is an accomplished actor, Vanessa has yet to star in a big film. And many relationships have broken up on screen (Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman on Eyes Wide Shut is one major example).

But wouldn´t it be a wonderful story if they did get married, on the set of My American Dream? Miracles are possible - Johnny Depp knows well.

"Everything is possible", says Olga. "It's my favourite quote. I don't know who said it first but I use it a lot so now it's mine." I believe her. She is 5 times fin-swimming champion of Ukraine and has just decided to go back to University to study Law, "for my life after swimming". 


Olga's 4 Life Path and 8 Birthday number make her a strong woman. Hard work, achievement and awards are her trademark. And although she looks like a flower, she is tough - "I'd be a heavy rock guitar player if I was a musician", she laughs. 


Olga's laugh is deep but her smile is sweet. And underneath the tough girl she is eloquent, charming and even a little flirtatious. She even cites Breakfast at Tiffany's as her favourite movie ("my answer probably surprises you because it is a romantic movie"). Her 3 Heart's Desire makes her very social and she loves to dance and have fun - "when I'm not training" (at all the parties I've had, Olga is usually one of the last to leave). Be careful though - she has an I.Q. of 135 and her charm can turn to sarcasm if you start acting a bit stupid :)


We can expect big things from Olga now and in the future. Her 1 Expression Number means she is destined to be one of the best at whatever she does; and being born in a Master Number 22 year means her achievements will last well into later life.

Born in Moscow, moved to Ukraine as a child, graduated in Law from Taras Shevchenko University in Kiev and is now working as a lawyer. Inesa loves work and thrives on challenges. Over a sip of coffee in her favourite cafe in Lviv, she quotes Albert Einstein saying, "In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity". In fact I got to know Inesa after she solved a legal translation problem for me. I couldn´t thank her enough and asked her about joining this Find Your Number project. 


"Why not!", she said. "I usually make friends with smart, easy-going, reliable people". Inesa is interested in foreign cultures (her 5 Expression number is the reason for her talent with languages and skill at meeting new people), particularly Spanish culture (Original Sin is one of her favourite movies). But her favourite city is still in Ukraine - Odessa, a city as sunny as Inesa herself.

If I wasn't working in recruitment, I would be a detective", says Maryana (in excellent English). A detective who dances salsa, cooks and can write you a business plan. Maryana is one of the most versatile women I know. She could probably do anything that she sets her mind to.

I am grateful for her friendship during the time I lived in Kiev. She was always helpful, attentive and super perceptive - very handy for a sometimes naive person like me. Her best quality is her independence. Her father put money aside for her wedding and she told him she would rather have a car!

Maryana´s 7 Life Path makes her charming, witty and intelligent. This in combination with her 5 Expression means she has an unconventional, problem-solving mind. Her 8 Birthday Number and Heart´s Desire gives her the strong business focus that has seen her work in financial, IT and marketing recruitment.

I've known Darya for a couple of years. Met her whilst teaching at ING Bank in Kiev. The class was small (4 people at most) and attendance was sporadic. But Dasha almost always came, and was the student that every teacher needs to have in class - talkative, active at taking initiative, quick thinking (she scored 130 on an I.Q test - in English!), creative and always trying to do her best (when I asked her about this she even Winston Churchill - "I am easily satisfied with the very best").

Darya has a 1 Life Path, a 22 third cycle and a 6 Maturity number which means you can expect great things from her in the future and possibly a larger family than is usual for Ukrainian women. But for now she is footloose, free spirit. She travels as often as she can. I met her in Barcelona last year, in her way to Ibiza. She´d just been in Amsterdam! Her favourite cities are mostly Italian but her favourite restaurant outside Kiev (she loves her native city too) is a seafood restaurant in Barcelona (see picture).

Her love of travel and her sophistication stem from her 5 Expression Number. She shares this number with the star of her favourite film, Audrey Hepburn and she is as fond of parties and events as the famous fair lady.

When I asked Dasha if she wants to be on this blog, she said "I´m happy to meet cool people, why not - as long as they are positive, easy-going, open-minded, kind and clever."

Barack & Michelle Obama in numbers

Barack and Michelle Obama are a high level match. They share a passionate idealism (both have a 9 Heart´s Desire number) and a highly compatible intellect (Barack has a 1 Expression and Personality Number, while Michelle has a 7, also for both Expression and Personality numbers)
